This painting was done from an oil sketch I had painted on the side of the highway outside Merritt on Hwy 1.   Everyone that  has travelled that road probably can figure out where I pulled over to do the quick oil sketch.   I have always enjoyed seeing this vast grassland and massive sky.....my paintbrush danced across this canvas.
